OCTAVIO HERRERA

Born in 1952, Campo Carabobo, Venezuela.

 

In 1964, he enters The School of Applied Plastic Arts Rafael Monasterios, Maracay, Venezuela, where he teaches for two years, 1971 and 1972.

He is designer from 1973 to 1977. In 1977 he travels to Paris and enters the University Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis where he obtains a master degree in Arts and Literature. He collaborates at the Denis René Gallery in Paris from 1982 to 1989. From 1991 until 1997, he teaches Plastic Arts at the University Paris 8.

He participates in multiple individual and collective exhibitions, Art show and international biennials in Japan, Venezuela, United States, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Peru, Cuba, Spain, England, Italy, etc.

At  the present time he lives and works in Paris Region, France.
